Have a 99SD that spit a plug a bit ago.Had local shop heli-coil it. Truck developed a bad miss on recent camping trip, couldn't turn back. Tracked problem to coil on this cylinder. When checking plug,heli-coil came out with badly fouled plug. Shop says head junk.Would appreciate any input on luck with Timesert or Lock-n-Stitch repair on holes that were heli-coiled.

Checked out Blownoutsparkplug sounds hopeful.Live in Wisconsin, curious what it'll cost to get them here. Hope they are Packer fans and want to come and tailgate with us. Oh yeah, trucks broke.
As far as timesert goes, shop miked plug and helicoil at .655 and Bigsert website says hole can't be over .640
Any other responses will be helpful in deciding
