It seems there is limited sizes available for these F-350 trucks with 18 inch rubber. I would like to go to a tire with a little taller sidewall and a little narrower stance. Current size is 265-70R-18.
I would like something in the 245 width and 85 height. Can anyone point me in the direction where I might find something.
I don't want to lift the truck and go to 37's, I am not after that look.
Why such a tall and skinny tire? I don't know of any manufactures that make that size. It's just a shade smaller than a 35x10" tire. You'll have more luck looking for a LT285/75R18. That's just under a 35x11.5" sized tire.
You won't narrow your stance much without changing your wheels out for something with more offset.
I live in rural British Columbia where my snow fall is substantial and find these wide tires just don't cut it. I have always found the tall, narrow tire much more efficient at getting me home. Thanks for the info on this other size, I will look into it.
