I realize this may be off topic here, but does anyone have any recommendations for internet sources of camper shell spare parts? I just acquired a (free) old Leer Crown 6-1/2 foot shell in so-so condition. The driver side window (full length flip-out) was broken. I have the locks and hinge, but was wondering if there was a better choice than taking the unbroken side to a local glass shop and having them copy it.
I will also be talking to a local Leer dealer about spare parts, but thought I'd ask here too.
Any suggestions on resuscitating peeling clear coat will also be welcome.
This is really a short-term requirement - I've got to keep some tools and parts in the truck for a couple of months, and I didn't want to spring for a new shell or tonneau cover, and I haven't found anything locally in a desirable price range.
