Welcome to our new member- williamsplumbing
Hi everyone,
I want to welcome our newest member williamsplumbing (Jay). Here is a little information about Jay-
I am pretty curious about what happened to the '06 Explorer
I really like those old Cougars. As for your new trucks, sounds like you definitely are a Ford family member.
Our chapter is a fun, friendly, and helpful group. We are full of information... most of it true and helpful too!
I hope to meet you at one of our get-togethers sometime!
Once again, welcome aboard!
Karl

I'm Jay Williams, other wise known as "Williams plumbing". That seems to be my user name where ever I go, so be it. I've had several Ford type vehicles over the years starting with a 1950 Mercury when out of high school, had a '67 Mercury Cougar, what a neat car, then went to a '95 F 250 Utility Body, guess what, that was a work truck, then I had an '01 F150 SCrew Lariat, a really fun truck, then bought my wife a '06 Explorer Limited, Beautiful car, you don't want to know what happened to it, and now we have an '08 Expedition Limited EL, a fancy truck.......................
I don't play much with cars/trucks any more, I'm a Shriner and my time and extra funds go in that direction./
And so you have it , the life and times of Jay B Williams

Welcome.
My first car was a '63 Ford Falcon. I've kind of been a ford guy ever since. Well there was a period during my misspent youth where I flirted with Volkswagen and Plymouth, but I digress. I'm still driving an '01 SuperCrew. I haven't yet seen a vehicle that I both like better and can fit in. I'm a really tall guy.

what happened to the Explorer.......
Hey, Karl, what happened to the Explorer is a bit of a sad tale............My wife was taking our youngest daughter and a friend to Chico for a youth group function with our oldest daughter and at the last over crossing on #505, she drove off the road, paralell to the highway and nose dived into the embankment at 70mph. Don't have any reason, just happened. Any way, we lost our daughter, her friend had multipul fractures to her spine and my wife, a trumatic brain injury.
The air bags deployed all around, but the sheet metal damage didn't allow them to inflate.
Needless to say, no matter the crash worthyness...........

Hi Jay, welcome to the chapter!
I'm really sorry for your loss...there's not a lot I can say. It's good to see you doing good work for kids with Shriners.
This is a great group, we're a lot like an extended family here. These guys have come to be among my closest friends and I know I can always count on them. I'm sure you'll find the same to be true.
Interesting you should mention that you live in San Ramon. I'm also into Land Rovers and a couple of my Rover buddies own an excellent Mexican restaurant on Alcosta Blvd. called Mexxi's. Been there a couple of times, though it's a bit of a drive for me.
