Disable keys??

Ya, I know it's my own fault. My Ex has the other set of keys(s**t). I have an 07 Ranger. I have a feeling only Ford can help. I only want my set of keys to work. I know she can still get in unless I have it re-keyed but then she can't take it.

It might be easier to do something else till all this blows over. Like one of those things you put on the steering wheel, or possibly you could find the wire to the starter, and run a switch somewhere easy to get to and flick it on and off.

Get a magnetic reed switch and hook it up to a relay in the ignition circuit. Place it somewhere out of sight but easy to get to. Now get a fridge magnet to operate the switch. When the magnet is near the switch the ignition works. If it's not there no go. Mount the switch under a cup holder and just drop the magnet in the bottom of the holder.
