Ike swamped the PSD...
One of my PSD's was not so fortunate during Ike. I left my '96 F350 down at a customer's in Bayou Sale and it was swamped by 4 ft of water. I left it on top of a levee that I was sure would not see water...but guess what...these things continually amaze me.
Oh well, anyone in the market for a salty 96 PSD?

Change all the fluids, lube and greese everything you can, spray all exposted metal with some kind of oil and sell it before it rusts out from under you. A friend of mine had a care that was in Katrina, water only got up to the top of the axles, two weeks later it sounded like a 20 year old pulpwood truck, creaked and groaned like a haunted house.
