I am still looking for the rare front side mounts for a 300 6 cyl. These mounts will bolt to the either side of the block in the front. The Col says they are from a '65 or '66 F350 or some later model F500 and F600s?
I have exhausted all of my resources. I will probably end up making the mounts.
At this point I would be very happy just to see a good picture of them. Better yet if anyone has a pair, or a source for some please let me know.

Are you looking for the 2WD rubber motor mounts? These are the same part numbers from 1965 thru 1972, and may be the same thru 1979.
240/300's use the same mounts, F100/350's use the same mounts.
These mounts are not rare, as they were used on everything from 1965 and later.
While the mounts are obsolete from Ford, I found these mounts NOS for another member last week, and can find them for you tomorrow when I return from Utah.
C7TZ-6038-B .. R/S Mount / C7TZ-6039-B .. L/S Mount / Fit 1965/72 F100/350 240/300.
These may be the same mounts for F100/250 4WD's, I'll know for sure tomorrow.
I'm on vacation, so I have no parts catalog access.
I am not looking for the mount cushion, I am looking for the actual mount that bolts to the engine.
I have however now located a post dated 7-20-05 by the Col, where he states his mounts were fabricated..
This is way too complicated, guess I will just fab some up.
Thanks, Chuck
BTW, would you know which 300 6 cyl has the shortest water pump that would fit my 1978 300?
The mounts that bolt to the block are the rubber cushions, these mounts then bolt to engine supports (aka perches, towers, stands) that bolt to the crossmember.
There are no steel brackets that fit between the rubber mounts and the block. AFAIK, only 460's used these.
I can tell you more tomorrow, as I'm using the wife's laptop while on vacation. All my parts catalogs are home in LA.
I assume you've swapped a 300 into a 1957/60, as the Col has. I've seen the Col's truck in person, as he's a pal of mine, we live only a few miles apart.
i don't have what your looking for, but i'm putting a 300 in my '52......... using standard rubber mounts.
here's a couple pics of the frame mounts i built.
That is fine, however I am not using "SIDE" mounts, I am going to use the original front frame mounted perches that were used to mount the original 223 six cylinder., and I need to locate or fabricate mounts ( brackets) that will fasten to the very front sides of the 300 six (very much like they do on a 223).

That type of front mount was used on F500 and larger trucks. More info tomorrow afternoon.
