Talking mirrors

HELLO everyone my name is Todd I am A new member but have been on this site many times. Decided it was time to join. got a question has anyone ever had a problem when you use your remote and your mirrors move out of position? Also my memory seat does not always work proper either. Any ideas would be helpful and appreciated. This is on a 2003 expo. Thankyou very much.

It happens with my truck when I use the factory remote and the unlock button is pressed. It also lowers the drivers seat for ease of entry. Once I'm inside, I use the drivers memory position button to return the mirrors, seat to my normal setting.

I'm not positive, but it sounds to me like your factory remote is programed to the wrong memory. In other words, sounds like your factory remote invokes memory 1 and you have your settings stored in memory 2.

I can hear the mirrors move a little when I press the unlock button on the factory remote. When I open the door the seat is lowered and then I use the memory position 1 on the door to return the seat and mirrors to my settings. Memory position 2 on the door has no settings. But I will consult my dealers service department to ensure it is operating correctly.

There is direction in the owners manual on how to program them to the remote. I'll check my book later today and get back if no one else did by then
