Short answer. Yes.

It does the same thing regardless of what chip you have in it. May not make a difference you can feel, but run some before and after times and you'll see it.

I posted my 0-60 mph times before and after the 140v IDM mod about 5 months ago. I only tested it in the 80e setting. There was a definite improvement in throttle response and low end torque. I would say that there has been an improvement in all the other settings also.

Doesn't appear that it liked extreme programming, high pressure oil, or large injectors either.

I could only hold about 2600psi. ??? and Jody "says" the tuning was "very conservative". The injectors weren't large, they were only 160cc. You want large, ill show you "large". (lol)

True. Read several posts where PMR guys have blown motors idling in the driveway, or just cruising down the motorway. No telling how long that motor has been damaged.

Honestly....I suspected that motor was on it's way out when you were having all the issues with the big oil pump. I think maybe the new combination of power parts just put it over the top.

With you popping at 370 and Jeremy at 430.......Hell I don't know. Makes one question one's faith in our engine of choice.

I have read all about this topic....and have seen the results with documented times where it showed improvement......HOWEVER, I can't find it, but I also remember reading a post from Jody....I think it was either Jason or Brandon that asked him at Smokin about the IDM.....he reccomended AGAINST it. Sorry if I'm wrong on that info......but that's what I recalled lol
