The only thing I can go by are the Ford wiring diagrams and they only show what I have posted above. I checked all of the Diagrams for all of the above trucks before I made the post. As I always check my references before I make a post to make sure I am right.
So if I am wrong all of the Ford Diagrams are wrong also and if so then we will have nothing to work from.

Also from reading other Threads, I have not read anything that any of the owners of these trucks have said that would dispute what I said above.
I have also worked with owners of 94-95 years of trucks on here a lot and the owners have gone along with the wiring diagrams that I have as we covered their trucks. None have ever said that the truck they had was different.

I think his friends had a 1993 or if it was a 94 and it had MASS air but I was not going to start anything over it. I have had a lot of friends that did not know the year of their truck.

If there is any body out there that owns one these trucks that can check the numbers on their truck to verify if Ford is wrong in their wiring publications? If so please post so we can verify.

I do own a 1995 F150, 5.0, SFI, Mass air with a 3.31:1 rear end by the way and it is not a California truck.

Also take a look at this post:

I am not here to stir up the pot at all but I own a 93 bronco and a 86 f-150 and have had nothing but ford trucks my adult life and when I get a new to me car or truck I read everything I can about said vehicle, when I went looking for my bronco I wanted a 95 or 96 because of the mass air the only reason I settled for my 93 is because of how clean it was,as I stated before I forgot the Ford truck from Cali had mass air before any other states a year or two earlier. Then when I got my pickup 10 yrs ago I was reading everything I could find on hop-ups and everything I read stated that I would need parts from a 95 or 96 to do a conversion on the cheaper end of the spectrum. After reading that post I may be wrong but that is because of what I have read not just shooting from the hip without facts and what I have read didn't say anything about 5.0 or 5.8 just stated Ford trucks with the small v8.So as you stated before they may have been both in 94 but it would be nice to see if any other members here that have a 94 5.0 with SD and not mass air.If I am wrong I apologize Subford but that just means I learned something new and that is why I am here to learn.

I'm not saying that 94 and 95 mass air trucks do not exist -- I know that there are many of them out there. All I'm getting at is that they were not all mass air. The transmission option may have an affect on whether or not the truck was mass air. I want to say that the 5.0's with the 4R70W automatic were more likely to be mass air than say 5 speed 5.0 trucks, for example. Didn't Justin (MustangGT221) have a 5.0 in his truck originally? I think it's a 95 with speed density and a 5 speed.

I see that now so I pulled out the BIG fold out prints for 1994 and I see what the personnel did when they drew the 1994 F-Series E&V TS Manual and I see now why they left out the Map for the 5.0.
In the big print it says that MASS was 5.0 only but it draws the MAP with no notes. So when they put together the E&V TS Manual they assumed that all 5.0 were MASS, bad assumption, so all of the 1994 E&V TS Manuals are wrong and I bet the 1995 E&V TS manuals are wrong also.
I think you are right about the 4R70W being the key.
