how much of a differance in egt's did you notice with the intercooler

The IC helped me a lot to control EGT when loaded or towing. I have no EGT trouble when empty, so it's help there is negligable. My chip has multiple settings, and the IC lets me run in either a more powerful chip setting or in a higher gear, or both while keeping EGT at or below 1200. Definately worth it in my rig, in my driving style, with my trailer, my hills, my elevation, etc. Your results may vary, but I have to think that it would help you too if EGT is a problem for you given that you tow a lot. I'll have more data in a few weeks, as I have a deer trip with the trailer coming up on the same route as last year, before I put the IC in.

I haven't towed with it yet and I used to have my probe in the DP. I now have it in the manifold where it should be so I can't give you a good comparison.
