Well, actually it is for the kitchen, but I figured I had to pretend it is for the garage to qualify for this forum.
And I figured someone here would have tips or pointers.
go to a tile store they have polishing discs for a 4 inch makita grinder, the discs are just soft abrasive that have graduated grit. start with the lowest number polish all the visable edges (done before setting the stone) than go to the next higher number do all the same edges than the next higher number..... continue untill all the visable edges have been polished with all the discs. I am up loading some pics to photo bucket now and will post them shortly.

Thanks for the pics. Those are the same tiles I used. I already stuck on the top tiles and need to polish the edges before sticking on the edge tiles. I also have to grind and polish the sink hole because I went with the bright idea of an undermount sink. I ordered some polishing discs from ebay and I hope they work as good as yours did.
What grit did you finish off with?
Wet or dry?
