Exhaust
The exhaust on my 08 f-150 is much louder than my 05. Both were x-cabs with the 5.4. The 08 sounds like a flowmaster almost, while the 05 was whisper quiet. Does anyone know if they maybe tweaked the exhaust for 08?

I just put dual Magnaflow on my 08 XLT Supercrew 5.4 150"wb and its not that much loader then the stock Muff single,the stock did have a nice sound but I wanted a little more out of the 5.4 and the magnaflow did it....However when towing I do notice a bigger differance in sound...

the 07+ have a slightly different upper intake and exhaust manifold...supposedly they also have a different head from the 04-06's.
but yeah, everybody with an 07+ has mentioned the exhaust is louder
