[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-Jul-02 AT 08:00 PM (EST)]My 77 was exactly that, with a stick and a 4:10 rear if I remember right. It was a tourqy beotch!!
I had a rod nock at 89,000 miles, I literaly held the pedal to the floor to try to blow the thing up and it never went.
I replaced it with a 390 and sold it off.:-X23
I am going to mainly use it a s a daily driver but hope to use the beast in the hills when i am done with it. It's only a rolling chassis right now and I go back to school soon, but i'm plannin on having the motor all rebuilt and to have the chassis blasted and painted by that time.
I put a 300 in my 79 for about a year till I put my big block back in.
My buddies laughed at me at first until it pulled out all of thier stuck trucks then drove back through thier ruts and out the other side.
