Left the key on (stupid)

I went out and turned the key to "on" to eject a couple of cds. I must have become distracted, and left with the key still in the "on" position. Five hours later, and dead battery. It is on the charger now. My question is "Did I hurt anything by doing this?"

I would say the only thing you could have hurt is the battery. A good charge like your doing is the best thing for it. People that just boost a completly dead battery will loose alot of life from it.

Thanks for the replies. I will try to see if I can eject without turning on next time, I can promise you that. It took a long time on slow charge, but it did go all the way until fully charged.

How did you manage to get out of the truck without responding to all the 'dinging' coming out of the warning chime?

You can eject cd's without having power.

It's not a feature i like, but you can do it.

Everything seems fine now. Recharged it, and good to go. Thanks for the replies.
