Different fan pulley sizes
Sorry if this has been discussed before; I couldn't find anything in the search pages.
I have two 400 engines, one with A/C, one without. Obviously the crank pulley on the A/C engine has three groves, whereas the non-A/C engine only has two. The strange thing is the fan pulley is a full 1.25" smaller in diameter on the A/C engine. Anybody know (or could guess) why?
It's in worse shape than the (larger) non-A/C fan pulley, which I've already prepped and painted. I want to run A/C on the new engine.
Any suggestions?
