AC Problems

Alright. The other night my Ac was working fine and on all speeds, Low amd high ect... Well About 5 minutes later I went to turn it down cause the truck had cooled off and it only works on high. Any suggestions, comments?

Failed blower dropping resistor, a pretty common failure.

how complicated is that going to be to fix? I know a little about working on my truck. Sometimes I have to have someone throw me some stupid terms though.

The blower motor resistor is on the plenum chamber under/behind the glove box. One electrical connector two screws, it'll have a 19A706 number on it. This would be the most likely cause for your problem. Also check the connector for signs of heat, could be the blower motor is going out and drawing more amps than it should. Of course I could be wrong since I don't know what you're working on.

Its real easy to change. It under the passenger side dash and is held in with 2 screws. I would go into more detail.. but its been a while since i replaced mine.
