SWEET!! I'm going to get some tires later on. First thing is my exhaust. How did yall run yalls? Im thinking about coming off the manifolds, leave the cats, cut the Y out and run true duals into 1 chambers, with 45* turn out to the ends of the bumpers. So if i do that will anything happen as far as computer programing??

no programming:
CAI - just unplug battery for 30 minutes
Exhaust
Lift/Lower
Bigger/Smaller Tires - live with speedo difference
Programming:
performance tuning
bigger/smaller tires - can't live with speedo difference
Speed limiter removed from 99 mph

alright, as far as performance tuning. I was looking at the k&n filters. I was also looking at a universal intake system. What are the pros and cons of these 2? I know the filter will give u better mpg. but what about the intake system?

K&N is not the way to go with our trucks

Volant
Roush
S&B
Air Raid

they are better companies with better products.

I was looking at all those filters, and they all look like k&n's. Even the million mile warrenty. Altough they are about 10 bux cheaper. So y not use a k&n? Is that just a personal preference?

it's personal in my case. I ran K&N on a 383 stroker with no problems.

but when I run them on EFI cars...I just have issues. I think it's the oil and the MAF not getting along in my case. Haven't had this issue with my Volant.

alot of other guys avoid K&N as well. they don't seem to be the same company as they were say 10 yrs ago.
