found on craigslist not sure if i can post the link or not. they dont specify which turbos they are he said they need rebuilt $150 each. wondering if that is a decent price.
If they aren't just the right turbo they will be of no use to you. If they are a H2E/HX50 with the right housings and don't have housing, shaft or compressor damage they may be worth it.
How do you tell what is the right turbo if you cant look at it or what do you need to look for? I keep hearing about the H2E and so on. What do these come on and what all do you need to do to mount one. Also what would the advantages be if you are still stock injectors? Sorry for the thread jack just really wanting to know.
On our stock injector you wouldn't want to run a H2E. They come stock on the Cummins L10 among others. IF the turbo's still have the tags on them they usually have a model listed. I am hoping that a H2E/HX50 with a 17 cm exhaust housing will work ok with stock AD (superduty) injectors. but our AA's won't push enough fuel even with a chip to make it go.
So your saying it wont make the Turbo spin at what it should. I guess that's what your saying. So pretty much you need bigger sticks to run a different turbo.
