Question possible donor car

I thought about having a corvette C4 front suspension with 4 bar out back with coil overs and ford 9 inch. However, when I was told $8K or more I decided to plan B. I bought a '88 Merc Grand Marquis for $300.00 a few weeks ago because it has a good 5.0 and tranny. Now I am thinking about using the front clip for my '54. Has anyone done this and if so do you have photo's,instructions ,words of wisdom ect.... Thanks

I used a frame clip from a 87 Town Car, basically the same. I wish I had took more pics during the install, but once I got started........
