Just wanted to share on this board, I bought another bronco II, an `84 XLT with the 2.8, C-5 and all the usual goodies. I`ll post a couple pics of when I brought it home and a couple recent in progress pics too.
Thanks guys, it feels good to have another bronco. I guess I`m sold on `em. Just the right size and cheap to come by. Sure made a huge difference when I put my old 30s on!
Welcome back.. from the progress pics it looked like you aired up the rear tire good job .. hahahaha J/K Seriously looks like a good project. You going to KK6 this weekend?
Flip, I put my old 30s on the pass. side for effect. They`re the only ones that hold air at the moment! lol.. as for the hi-lift, I used carriage bolts through the bumper bolt holes and part of the hi-lift mounting kit for jeeps, I just kept the "U" shaped brackets and the wing nuts. I sold the rest of the kit on ebay. It works great, and it`s out of the way. I`d rather use a James duff rear bumper with the spare tire and hi-lift mount but they`re $600!!!
I got a 30x 9.50 tire i need to get sold and out of my garage. tire is more or less brand new, and I am located in manhattan.
Sell it to ya cheap so I can have some garage space back.
I was just razzin ya :-) .. Looks good. I might know where there are a few more rims to match the one you show on front.
Speaking of stuff in the garage, my wife is starting to put her foot down and wants park her truck in the garage before she has to scrape windows.... It's kinda full now. Guess I got some cleaning to do.
Well Figure out what ya want for it. I`m likely gonna need it. I priced the tires I want, which are BFG AT KOs in a 30 inch size and they`re $150! DOH!
