Does anyone know what size brakelinefittings are used these plases:
On the front end of the brakeline which goes from the front to the rear
Rear wheelcylinders
Three fittings on the rear hydraulic hose
I need to change the brakelines which goes from the front to the rear and on the rear axle. All the pipes and fittings are rusted and I need to know the size they all are.
i am relining my whole 94 e350 and bought stainless steel and steel 3/16" bulk brake line and ss and steel fittings from summit...havent decided whether to use ss or steel but will start tomorrw...i will probably use ss if it flares nicely, but i will probably never have to worry about using steel...anyways the fittings from summit come with a variety of sizes and one package should be enough but i bought two just in case
I've managed to measure the fittings when I finally got them off.
Wheelcylinder: 3/8 UNF24
Frameend of hydraulic hose: 3/8 UNF24
Rearaxleend of hydraulic hose: one 3/8 UNF24 and one 7/16 UNF24
Frontend of brakeline which goes from front to rear: I believe this also will be 3/8 UNF24.
All pipes are 3/16. I will use copper/nickel brakelines myself.
