That is so funny, I was just talking to some of my buddies the other night about needing to build some sort of vac. that could be hooked to my little aluminum trailer. That way I could push the trailer/vac around the yard to where it is needed, with out having to drive thru the yard and leaving ruts when it's wet. I haven't started anything yet. Still trying to figure out if I want to go electric or gas. Gas would be more portable, but I wont be doing anything really out of my yard/neighborhood. So a 100' extension chord attached would get me my power. Then I wouldn't have to worry about another engine on something I only use a couple months out of the year. My other big question is pickup hose. What to use? I have seen some commercial ones that have a nice big 10" dia. flex hose, but not really sure if I need something that large. Been looking around from some 6" flex hose, but haven't seen anything that I like the price of yet either.
So let me know if you come up with any great ideas I can steal from you.
-Izzy- I'm thinking of trying an 8" radius tile (though it's not gonna' b very flexible). You know, just til I find something nice n' free. If come up with something really sweet I'll let you know, dude.

Hello! It's my first time in this portion of the forum. I'm from Linden, IA. I farm and feed cattle. Great to see all you folks from Iowa here! Looking forward to visiting with you.
Welcome to our little corner of the forum... I grew up on a cattle farm, but now the ground is all leased out. I am back to living on the farm, but just not a fully operational one by us.
Hello all, I'm from Camanche and recently acquired a 96 F250 2wd with a 460, auto tranny, and a LS 4:10 axle. with a whopping 31,000 miles on it. It isn't one of my favorite colors, but the price was right. I traded our old high mileage (4,800 miles) quad for it and threw in a couple grand to a guy that left it sit for 2 years, so I think I came out decent. I used it to pull my wheeling Jeep to Indiana two weeks ago and will say I am very pleased with it's towing ability. Anyways, thanks for listening to me ramble.
