kinda late to this i think, but i'm still alive. Not at Iowa State anymore, I work fulltime at M&M Custom Finishes(mmcustomfinishes.com). Got rid of my Contour SVT for a 97 F150 4x4(gravel roads blow in the winter in my car). Also just got a set of 'bags, for my 54...so the suspension is getting a redo. Thats bout all for now I think....

Bustin' my behind in classes... then now I have 2 tractors to fix, one with major issues, and one with a rod knock that could be more than I hope. Motor hasn't been opened possibly since it was built back in the 60's... I won't bother with the rest of the list, it gets pretty long. Sad thing is, little of the list is mine. I want to tinker with the 78 F150 4x4 shortbed that was given to me though... body is mostly done in, but I happen to have another that will donate much of the needed parts.

Always busy. Got my beds for the 63 all cut up and put back together the way I wanted. More work than I planned on, but ain't it always? Had fun doing it at least. Check my galleries if ya want pics. Next project is exterior trim for the house and siding. Don't expect I'll enjoy that as much. It's camping season though and I saved up all my payed days so I can work 4 day weeks from now to the end of August! Planning to go to the Rust Revival Car show down past Burlington at the end of May.

My uncle tells me they had one down to Wayland Mo as well, but I never heard about it while I was living there... he thinks they are great.

Took over a 1000 pics at the Rust Revival. Kept 418. There were several truck and truck based rats there. Pre-65, no billet, no 22 rims.

I am currently spending some time trying to get my truck good and road worthy as she is going to be my DD as well as snow pusher. So not only working on her I still have to fabricate a snowplow mount as the one I have is off a 1979 Chevy, but was modded last year to fit a 1995 F150 with a lift. I went to a 3/4 ton this year and an automatic transmission. (manual was killing me plowing).. I am one of those wierdos who likes the snow looks like money from the sky.

It should rework to the 80 ok. Sounds like you have some fab skills. I gave up on pushing snow, I use a big snow blower now! I went from several hours pushing snow to maybe an hour... But I only have to worry about my place and my parent's place. My lane is over 600' long...

Most of my fab skills are trial and error. I have a really good friend who is a novice welder who has a big heated garage with a fridge full of beer and some days we do some real work there. Besides; what guy doesn't like shiny metal, sparks, fire and the idea behind doing it yourself?

Trial and error can be a very good teacher... I used to weld for a living, still do quite a bit as needed. Don't have the fridge or a very well heated shop, but get things done all the same...

This is cool, just posting what all we've been up to. Well I'm 36 yrs.old currently unemployed due to my department permanantly shutting down. In search of new opportunities. Gets to be stressful at times, but hey I know that I can get on here and get stoked about all of our Ford Enthusiasm, RIGHTEOUS!!! Anyways, I'm also in the process of making a homemade vacuum truck loader to help with these darn leaves piling up in my yard. The vacuum will be connected to my reciever hitch on my '73 F350 w/ enclosed tilt bed. All is ok right now, and will get better soon. So, CHEERS!!!
