tire question

Does anyone know what is the largest tire that will fit on a 2002 F250 XLT crew cab 4x4, with stock rims and height? It has 265/75/16. Any help would be great thanks.

I beleive you can put a 315/75/16 on your truck but I know a 285/75/16 will fitwith no problems at all . Some of the kids at the school I teach at are running 305/70/16's on their SD's these are the same height as the 285's but a little wider should be the same as a 33/12.50/15 in size I hope this helps

275/70 16 is the safest recommended without going beyond the 7" wheel range.

What tire and wheel combo should I run with my SD (8" suspension lift). I am thinking 37s but don't know any exact specs for both tires and wheels.

with an 8" lift i believe they recommend 37's...... 35's are reserved for the 4 and 6 inch kits.

For the first post I wouldnt recomend going bigger than the 285/75/16 they fill in the wheel wells and look good. As for the 8 inch lift. I am running an 8 inch lift with 38x14.5x16 on 16x10 rims with 4.5 backspacing with no rubbing.
