One of the boots on my Bilstein shock is mangled. I've tried contacting Bilstein's suppliers/dealers but they tell me that Bilstein doesn't sell their boots seperately. Anyone know where to find a replacement? Everywhere I have looked doesn't have the correct size. The large opening needs to be 2" and the small opening needs to be .75". Length is about 5-14". Needs to be black. Any help is greatly appreciated!
The problem is not that they are too tight. The smaller openings are too big. They are like 1.25". The Bilsteins have a very small end where the boot attaches.
if you contact Bilstein, they will help you out. they are just down the road from me in poway and they are supercool about customer service. did you know you can have your basic tube bilsteins rebuilt and the comp/rebound setting changed for $65ea?
Wow that was a lot easier than I expected. Called the East HQ and the guy that answered the phone was able to help locate the part (it's in the West HQ) and was able to take my info and get it ordered for me for $3.08. Great customer service indeed!
