Smokin Brake

I posted the brake problem with my 95 F150 back on 09/08 and forum members responded with great suggestions and I want to thank all. I jacked the truck up in the rear; checked the Ebrake to be OK; and the rear wheels spun by hand. Test drove it one mile and the ABS light came on again so parked it. Tripped to Ford and paid $30 for a Vehicle Speed Sensor and installed it. Ten mile test drive and ABS light is gone and my baby is running good again.
Hope this info helps someone else that has an ABS problem.
Thanks again all.

This is a second update to my post on 09/13/2008 where the ABS light on my 95 F150, 5.8 4wd auto had come on. Replacing the Vehicle Speed Sensor only worked for 3 days or about 50 miles. Reviewing some of the posts on the forum led me to flushig the brake lines as my fluid was very dark. This did not work. Taking it to a shop and spending $550 for the install of an ABS Module and flushing the lines did the trick. Seems the Ford ABS module is very prone to corrosion and failure if brake fluids flushes aren't done every 50,000 miles or at least that is what a Ford service manager recommended. My module was toast. I thought I would pass this on as it might help other forum members keep their babies on the road and help in diagnosing ABS problems.
