the end of my warranty is comming soon they offer (ford) a 2year 100k or I'm thinking going banks. Anyboby got experince with this stuff, i'm not a hot rodder just looking longivity and towing Thanks 04 250 6.0 70k

I had a Banks 6gun on my 03 F350 it was ok. Now I have a SCT livewire on my 07 and the power is much better and it also controles the tranny ulile the Banks. As far as towing it is much better because in the tow tunes you can get a exhaust breake that REALLY helps on the hills . I have a dump trailer that can be 10,000 lbs. plus a truck of at least 11,000 lbs (22,000 to 23,000lbs GCVW) You will find most people perfer the SCT programers

Not having bought either an SCT or Banks products for my 05 PSD (yet), I would say that Banks does make some nice external parts (ie. Intercooler and exhaust), but they are a little pricey. If I were going to tune the truck I would go with an SCT X3 with custom tuning from one of the many good tuners out there.
