dana 50

I was wondering if gears and carriers from a dana 50ttb will fit in a dana 44 axle and vice versa. I have a set of dana 50 4.11 gears and want to put them in my 44 f150. i have heard that they will fit and that they wont. Thanks

They will NOT fit in a 44. Not even a Dana 44HD. I belive the 44HD is a 9" ring gear and the 50 a 9.5" ring gear, could be wrong on the numbers, but they are different.
