This is how *I* remember this day.
9.11 was an inside job. With a little help from Israel.

The neo-cons wanted a war, and now you got one.

Clinton dropped the ball too. No doubt about it.

But that doesn't excuse bush from failing to do his job. The attacks happened on his watch and he had intelligence that they were coming and did nothing to protect us. You can't blame Clinton for that.

I'll never forget that day in my entire life. I was a senior in high school at the time. I was in CAD Drawing class when it happened, we all gathered and watched CNN during the time of the tragedy. Everyone on that day remembers what they were doing at the time of the attacks.

I was in Newfoundland when it happened. Seeing our two C-17s (with our HH-60G's in them headed for Kuwait) surrounded by 40+ diverted airliners was a different sight. People freaking out in the airport and asking us (in BDUs) what was going on was confusing as we didn't know what happened 'til a few of us walked out to one of the C-17s and listened in on SATCOM. Quite shocking to hear it that way.

I was on my way to work at 6:00 AM Pacific when I first heard the news. I was at work all day as the "day" unfolded.

Found out recently that a relative called in sick that day, working in the Twin Towers. And a former boss of mine when I was a kid, moved to NY, he was able to evacuate in time.

i was on a roof in brooklyn NY five miles from the towers as the bird flies.. i saw the whole thing and was covered in dust when the towers came down.. I can tell you horror stories and stories of bravery and how this city which usually is full of people who are rude and dont care bonding like brothers and sisters.. I can tell you how for days we went to stores collecting things and driving supplies to the workers in the pit like water and socks... I can tell you about thousands of cars driving around in a candle light vigil and lastly i can tell you how we saw packs of muslims in our country partying cause they were glad as to what happened and i can tell you that a bunch of us went out and tried to find some but luckilly for them we didnt... I can tell you stories of a friend of mine who was working in 7WTC that morning and saw things no human should ever have to... she still struggles with demons of that day today.. i can tell you about burnt debris in my yard 12 miles away and i can tell you that i ran like hell out of NYC that evening after finally getting to my kids and I can honestly tell you that to this day every time i see a low flying plane or a plane that doesnt seem to belong in an area that i get all nervous... I remember trying to get a quarter inch of dust off my truck that wa WTC dust... I remember going to donate blood and the whole city waiting for ambulances of survivors that never came and how eerily quiet it was that day and I can also remember never before or after being so mad at the terrorist countries yet so proud of our country
I hope i never have to live through another thing like that and i hope that nobody ever ever forgets that day and the aftereffects of it

A friend called me from Nevada just after the first tower was hit. He kept saying "WW3" started" and I remember replying it was probably another terrorist attack like the first bombing attempt.

Got up and turned on the satellite TV to watch the coverage as people, firefighters, police et.c...rushing to try helping those in the first tower. Then watched in shock as the second plane smash into the next tower. The cameras showing people breaking windows and later jumping out of them as they were trapped. Then one tower collapsed and shortly after the next.... .....Horrible.

I went to the PC game website I admin for to check the boards as I knew some players were in the New York City area. Over next few days, many wrote in what they saw and experienced. All the foreign players were horrified this happened and the outpouring of support was overwhelming.

As it turned out one person lost a close cousin in the Port Authority there. Another had a father who was supposed to be at a meeting in the complex there. Turned out the meeting was canceled a half hour before the first plane hit and his father was at his hotel when it happened. Another player had a brother who was to escort a group of school children on a trip to the second tower that morning. But the trip was canceled.

My daughter had a school friend who lost a relative in the second tower collapse.

I have my own views what "should have" or "might have" been done. Who is to blame and all that. It was cumulation of events and more than just one administrations "watches".

Just want to make sure this day is remembered and that it does not happen again.
