I am installing a snorkel on my 84 F-250. Does anybody here have experience with these in general? I already know how to route it, I just need to know which is better- the filter on top, or a filter box inside. Also, with a filter box, what should I use? I have been thinking about using the box off of a late-model Dodge Ram.
Any thoughts?
havent gotten started on the snorkle yet, i have too many projects going on at the same time on my truck. im still putting in the 1ton rear, probably about to buy a 205, trimming the fenders, and reworking the rear suspension. i dont think i can handle another project to pro long the driveability of my truck!!
Orange- nice build sheet for the truck. Mine is similar. Why not start w/ an F-250, though? Leafs up front, a straight axle will drop in, so no alignment to worry about.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 05-Nov-02 AT 08:50 PM (EST)]well for starters ive had my truck since i was 12, im 16 now. and i like the regular cab short bed on the 150's and im just too atatched to let it go. so i thought id be creative and do a SAS on the coil sprung TTB front and whatever else comes to mind, next idea some people think is "too much" is 1/4 elliptical suspension. kinda expensive though.
what i have listed on that last thing is what im doing to my truck right now, thats no where near what im going to do to it.
