Newbie needing help

I just purchased a 1995 f150 4x4 extended cab. You cannot unlock the drivers door with the key. I removed the inside panel and the plastic clip that connects the key cylinder to the linkage is broken. I have looked at parts diagrams and can't seem to find this part. Does anyone know what it is called? Also the truck has power locks but I do not know if it ever had remote keyless entry. I would like to add this option and would like some ideas on what I need to accomplish this.

i do not know what it is called but LMC truck catologs always show a diagram of parts which are numbered to identify it. you might try there online catolog to see if it tells you
