I may be the first "naysayer" but I've had some issues with the AE tech service. When I first bought the AE with the Ford enhancement, it worked fine. Then all of a sudden after installing an update, I have yet to be able to use it on my SD. I've E-mailed repeatedly and the responses are of no help. Granted, this is not my #1 problem in my world, so I don't call them every day, but you would think that for the price you pay, that they would put a little extra effort into solving a customers problem. I guess that since that's not the way I run my business, that explains why I still work my butt off, and still ain't rich.
For the proposed functionality it's a bargain. I believe anything you pay for should work as advertised, but in the professional world, the expense is MUCH MUCH greater than what you get with AE. I have had some difficulties getting it to work at times, and it has crashed or locked up at others, but it is a great value. However, the price one pays for the professional versions of scanners means they have to work all the time every time and accurately. I'm not sure I could rely on AE in a full professional environment.
Trust me, the scanguage is cooler, and easier to use. The only benefit would be if you were only using the AE to read your truck, and not help out other people.

Sound like I ran into a similar situation. After installing the 6.1 unpdate it is required to reactivate the enhanced Ford feature (in the help menu on the top toolbar). Unfortunately my previous activation code did not work, but when I contacted AE I with my username and code on the back of the controller they e-mailed me a new activation code the next day.
For the price AE is worth it in my opinion considering a NGS scanner is easily double the cost. With AE I have been able to Datalog ICP, duty cycle, KOER test, KOER test, pull codes, live data etc. Like Kris stated above you can also do these functions with the Aeroforce scan gauge. But with AE I have been able to help out my Schaeffer Customers by showing them their trouble codes and issues without having to go to the dealer and pay for it.

AE is a good deal for the $ in my opinion. Considering a NGS scanner is easily double that. I can datalog ICP, Duty Cycle, run Contribution test, KOER test, pull trouble codes, etc. Like Kris stated above, the scan gauge can do all this also.
