have you done a gear swap yet? that would be your best bet with the 5.0 in your truck. otherwise longtube headers and 1.7 roller rockers are a couple options.

everybody says gears are a big power gain i guess that sounds like my best bet so far... i think i will go with a 4.10 possibly 4.11 since i have 36x13.5 irok (heavy bast ards) lol
Everyone says the 1.7 roller rockers are the way to go? Anyone tried them that could give me some feedback? What is a good price and from where?
i appreciate any feedback!

with 33's i'd go with 4.10 gears, with 36's on a 5.0 i'd at least go with 4.56s. Btw there's virtually no difference between 4.10 & 4.11, or 4.09 for that matter. 2 hundredths difference between front and rear axles won't hurt, so theres really no gain there.

I hear 1.7 are a good boost. Some people say it's a 10% gain in lift, i call BS. It's about 6.3% gain. So if your stock lift is say .380 with the 1.7s you'd get .404, definitely more breath ability but for not much more $$ you could put a nice cam in there at around .480 lift without having to upgrade springs or PRs. So for roughly the same price, RR-less work less performance, CAM-more work more performance. And if you can find some 1.72rr that'll give you ~7.5% lift over the stock 1.6r's. Also since it's a 95', it's MAF right, you have a much wider cam selection than the older SD setup. So if your up for the work i'd say get a new cam.

Chips are pretty much pointless until you start putting alot of major mods on the engine; like heads and CAM. and then they are only really good if they're custom burnt to your set-up on a dyno. You could always get a tweecer and then you'd have unlimited tuning options so you don't have to get your chip reburnt after every mod. Though i think you might need to use a mustang computer. Check out the tweecer website.

Ported E7 heads seem to be one of the best bets for the 5.0 in a truck, aftermarket heads tend to flow too much on the intake side to keep velocity for the low-end torque(which you really want with those big tires).

Some nice longtube headers and a good exhaust behind them will definitely give you an increase, and it will multiply the increase you get from other mods to the engine. 2 1/4" duals or 3" catback/muffler back.

I wouldn't really worry about the intake much until you get to some high HP and high lift cam. Maybe a larger MAF sensor would be nice though, i think the stock is only 55mm. 65mm or 70mm wouldn't be a bad idea, but pointless until you get other upgrades.

A really easy at home do-it-yourself mod would be to advance the timing a few degrees. I just took mine up to 14*BTDC(no pinging) and now i can accelerate up hills in 5th gear on my M5OD that i would previously decelerate and have to down shift. Just make sure you you back off the timing if your engine starts pinging.

there are tons and tons of threads about this kinda stuff though, so do a search and i'm sure more idea's will pop-up. make sure you get all the other details about how to go about doing these mods.

Slap in some gears and open up the exhaust.

I went from 3.08 to 4.11. Don't regret it. Good power top and bottom end. I cruise at a max of 60MPH, but only to conserve fuel.
