2000 power windows wont work

I have a 2000 v-10 with 116000 mi. on it. Today my windows began to stop operating after i put them all down to cool off the truck. If I let the truck cool down for while they will work to get the windows back up but if I try it again, they stop.
Checked the voltage at the drivers side switches, 12.1 when cool, try to use the windows, it drops to 8.1 and will creep back up after you wait a bit. I checked and cleaned the fuses and dont have a clue where to look next. thanks for any help.

ALL windows act up or just the driver's side?

its all the windows. if i shut the truck off and wait about an hour, i can put then all back up, but if i try to do it again immediatly, they will slow to a crawl and then stop. thanks

Don't mean to hi-jack your thread but my driver side window just stopped working. It would go up and down slow at first but now it stopped working altogether. Any idea's?
