Looking for some advice on good plow setup for the X. Been looking at all the options, specifically the poly blades. They run about 450lbs vs 700lbs of steel.
I am also going to put some front springs in it.. Likely just go with F250 plow package springs...

I put a 2 inch add a leaf in from skyjacker to get the nose of my f350 dually up a little and it worked great.Easy to put in and about $200.
If your gonna do it to make $, make sure you buy a setup that has lots of replacement parts locally. Some of the setups that are not common can take a week to get parts shipped in. Thats a LOT of $ lost. I manage the parking lots around a major stadium, and the guys we use all seem to go with western do to quality and parts availability.
hi, i have a f250 4x4 scab sbox v10 ,that has the lightest springs, i put a hiniker 8' scoop plow on . held it up ok but if you hit the brakes hard it would dive. so put on timberns [rubber springs that go on in place of the bumpstops] & about 500lbs in the bed. bseg barry
Mine took a little nose dive when the plow was put on but not enough to where it needed the airbags to function. I just wanted the goodies beings I didn't have to pay for it. ha ha
