I asked this in the BIG BRONCO forum, but nobody responded. So hopefully someone here can.
I have an 89 Bronco XLT. The lights worked fine a day or two ago. Now the low beams don't work on either side, but when I hit the dimmer switch the high beams come on. The Bronco has a plow mount with plow headlights. When I turn the plow lights on, the low beam only works on the passenger side, high beams work on both sides. Does anybody have an idea what could be the problem? I believe it is the headlight switch, but I might be wrong. I checked the bulbs and fuses, but they appear to be good. PLEASE HELP!
check to be sure your plow lights are not interfering, my truck did sorrt ofthe same thing only my high beams did not work at all. turns out there was a plow light wiring harness on my truck from before. i took it off and matched up the wires by color and tada, the whole thing works great. except for now when i turn my lights on my radio turns off for a second. but i think thats another story.
