On this black truck I bought not too long ago, I just had the brakes changed out. I had to do everyuthing because the front rotors were work down to the fins.... apparently the PO forgot to change out the brake pads
last time i had brake issues i just replaced the pads and rotors at the same time and am glad i did. the pads and rotors together are supposed to be good beyond 50,000 miles so we will see!
man, those are some rough looking rotors lol. my ex wife was h*ll on brakes and on average i would put 5 or 6 sets of pads on her car a year. she had the car for 6 years and i never had to change the rotors on it. well, i take that back. i had to change one when her caliper locked up and she drove it for about a month without telling me..... ive never seen a set of pads wear a ring in the rotor like that unless it was down to the metal. i wasnt calling you a liar or anything, but ive just never seen that before.....
