Since we are talking alternators. I figure i'll post here instead of making a new post.
My battery light isn't flickering I don't believe really haven't paid attention to it. But I noticed last night on my way into work that my lights would dim a little then come back and it did this the whole way to work. I'm thinking that the alternator is starting to show signs of going. I have a 97 F150 4.6 auto 4x4 with about 222,600 miles. Belt I tend to believe it's the alternator, that when the truck is idling lights are fine but once i give some gas to bring the rpm's up the lights dim.
