talking to my parents from home today. since i've left home and moved west, we always compare the difference in fuel prices between here and there. seems like they always paid upwards of 10-20 cents more than we do a litre. today, they're paying 137.9 while we're paying 138.9... interesting to say the least.
Hopefully that is a good sign that our fuel prices will decrease. I havent had to by gas for my half ton for awhile now, and the civic doesnt take much to fill up so I havent been too bothered by the gas.
As for diesel it was 125 a liter last time to fill up. I wouldnt complain if that dropped dramatically either!
Damn fuel pricing with all its regional disparities and excuses as to why the price will increase like every damn weather scare, change of political climate, threat of anything like the clause in the pact from the movie Phantom of the Opera - 'all things not included are deemed included'. Its the old Golden Rule surfacing - them with the gold makes the rules!
We are 1.36 here, filled up the focus the other day and it took $60!!! I hadn't put gas in it for a long time because I hardly ever drive it, but it always used to be under $50!
