The conversion kit just has factory manual hub parts in it - you still have to buy manual hubs, and one brand is about as good as the next - I use MileMarkers but most people (including the factory) use Warns. Here's what it looks like on the older trucks:

The '97 and up F-150's have an (IFS) Independent Front Suspension Axle. It is very different from the pre '97 axle. The 80-96 4x4's used a (TTB) twin traction beam axle. The hubs on this axle stick through the wheel and can be manual or automatic. The '97 up axle just has a flange that you mount the wheel on, no hub sticking through the wheel.
Well I just heard back From Warn, they do not offer a manual lock out for my truck
I had a Ford mechanic tell me that that front axle is always locked together it only disengages from the transfer case,
(was wanting to convert for fuel enconomy and durability)
