i just got a 771/2 f250 4x4, it has the new style steering like a 78 0r 79. the body is pretty rusty around the rear wheels and the front wheels. i really don,t want to lift the truck at all. i would rather just cut the wheel well openings larger. i want to run a 38" or 39" tire(only have 410 gears) can i do it? what about wheel backspacing? and wheel width for a 16" rim to fit 38,s or 39,s. thanks mudder trucker.

The hook has a threaded shank,So I had my machinist friend bore a hole in the angle iron to fit and put a nut on it.
