welp i dont know how many of you from the illinois area made it to the cruise for charity last night and today , but it was a good time as usual . the leisurely stroll acroos springpatch from one end to the other by all the cars last night with traffic blocked so we had right away is soooo much fun , but just because i like pi--in- people off i think . well today the wife entered the 53 in the judging . i didnt dont care , im just there to show my truck off to those who appreciate her .come awards tonight i got best original . dunno how but ............... i wondered how she could be considered original , but my freind and judge of the rice burner crowd told me out of the unrestored old trucks there mine was the least modified , and was still sporting the stock suspension and driveline . ok . now the wife wants to go ballistic on it so we can win more tropies . she's doomed to be a trophy w-o-e me thinks . too bad so sad that im having way to much fun driving it and enjoying it the way she is and just fixing what it needs . later guys !!!!!!!!!!!! gotta go see the new grandbaby that was just hatched at the hospital !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Congrats on the trophy, Kevin, and on the new grandbaby!!!!! Be glad that your wife is intrested in old trucks also. Makes it so much more fun. Glad to hear that y'all had a great cruise nite.

way to go kevin, glad to see you win it. it was great weather out there today. the guy who came with me and my brother in law brought his flawless 69 camaro and won best paint. once again, congrats to you, makes you proud doesn't it.

 

Good goin' Kevin. Nice work. I've missed the cruise with other stuff going on. I'm gonna make sure I get to the Rt 66 event, though. And congrats on the grand baby. We got back from visiting ours a couple weeks ago. They sure grow up fast.

so stu , tim and any of ya's 'round these parts gonna be at the motherroad ????????? it's the last weekend this month and i'm praying for the same weather !!!!!!!!!! oh and tim i didnt want to go onstage , the deal was if she entered it and got anything she was supposed to go up . we see how that worked . i dont care bout prizes . like i said the people i got too meet and talk too who were interested in her were the best . the guy with the beautiful yellow 51 v-8 truck { restored } told me i had a great truck and a great starting point . coming from him that was better than any trophy considering how gorgeous his truck was . tell your buddy congrats on his award for me tim . and my newest granddaughter was a cutie . tegan is her name and yet another one to corrupt with old cars and trucks , and teach bad words to in german !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! later fella's !!!!!! oh and yes it did { the trophy } have the benefit of getting the other half even further trapped in the web with us . getting things done shouldnt be much of a problem now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
