Total F100 production in 62 of F100 unibodies was 68,983 units.
This info is from the Standard catalog of Light Ford Trucks 1905-2002 by John Gunnell, copyright 2003

The above book is the best overall reference for Ford trucks of any year. It's currently out of print.

10,703 F250 Uni's were also produced in 1962.

when you take into account how many are left...I would consider it a less then common rig...compare it to Mustangs and Camaros and then compare the approx. number left of the 3...I would say its a worthy candidate for almost being called rare...but thats just my opinion though...I wouldnt look on it as a bad purchase though if the price was right...

For vehicles this old, the estimated number remaining, which is based on registration figures provided by R. L. Polk & Co., is 10%.

Polk has been the official provider of vehicle registration figures for the US auto industry since the 1920's.
