Im looking to put a 4"lift on my 82F-150. And well i was just wondering what size of tire i can fit whith out rubbing. ( i whant the biggest meat i can get )
If you had a Chevy you'd be stuck at 33". With your 4 inch lift 35's will work and look much better. My '86 with 3" lift and decent shape stock springs all around can run 35's with only an occasional hit at the rear of the front wheelwell.
33's are barely cheaper than 35's- go for the extra inch of ground clearance. (oh yeah- with 3.55's you will wish you had more pull at partial throttle)
I'd say you can go with 35's and not have any problem. I don't even have a lift on my truck and I run 35's. Only rubbed once, but that was the time I bent the front bumper under the leaf springs.
