I need some help. I'm trying to decided between a 2 inch skyjacker susp. lift or a 2.5 inch Rough Country lift. I want to fit a 32 or 33 inch tire and still have a little room to flex the tire in case something happens. Someone I know put on a 2 inch lift and he says he can fit 33;s but he hasen't tried yet and he dosen't seem to have that much room. Any input is helpful imput. Thanks.
You can't fit 33's on a stock 4wd 80-96 unless you like to rub things. They look ugly and are way to crammed. My 32's rub on the radius arm pretty bad and they are 11.5" wide not 12.5" wide. However, get the skyjacker coils, 1.5-2" lift is enough but a 3-4" lift would be ideal for 33's. Rough country stinks. You'll probably want to regear if you get 33's, they'll be sluggish even if you have 3.55s or horrible if you have 3.08s. I have 32's on my stock 4wd truck and they look good I think. I'm going to 6" and 35s but for now it looks fine.
