I live in Arizona, What is Snow? jk in '87 we had 5' we use the 250 Ferguson and gannon or the 926 CAT skid steer, or just chain up the truck and have fun
I use the old fashioned snow shovel. If I wanna get quickly done I use the snow blower. Also for those snowed in days the neighbor down the street comes and plows.
i got to thinkin with the thread posted farmers almanac Predicts Colder, 'Catastrophic' Winter what do yall use to move your snow? do yall do it your selves or hire out the jobs or what do yall use to get rid of the fluffy white stuff?
Snow? What snow? We don't get snow in Bakersfield, CA only sunshine. But let me ask you midwesterners this question...What do you all do to get rid of smog .
Seriously, I lived in Kansas as a kid and my parents owned a Subaru and that thing never got too stuck that it had to be pulled out. High centered once in snow and my dad made me and my brother hand dig us out but that was it. I do love the snow for playing in but not for working in.
You guys in Az, Ga, Ca, La, and other places that don't get snow...Bite me..come up here and deal with it for a season, or not.
Hey, you try living where it never gets cold enough to put on more than a sweatshirt and deal with the sunshine every....single....day. It hardly ever rains here and never snows here, just sunny warm days and that's all we get. It's hard to deal with sometimes .
I dont have any pictures on my computer right now, but I use a 95 case 580 sk turbo backhoe to move snow. I also bought a case 446 that came with a blade and a snowblower that Im gonna try this year
I have PEX loops under the driveway and walkway tied to a boiler (closed loop water heater) in the basement. If my truk can't make it through the rest of it, I just stay home.

That is cheap. I equate them to weeds. Start off, quit due to not being able to turn a profit and then die out. Next year a new crop of folks who do it way to cheap come up and the cycle repeats.
