poping sounds

when ever im parking and driving slow and turn my truck i get poping noises one after another. can anyone tell me what might be wrong.

More info please...Is this 2 or 4 wheel drive? Is it a stick, or Auto tranny??

V8 or V6? new tires, or well traveled? How many miles are on your unit?

do you hang a snow plow on this? Does it do this only one direction...meaning just to the right or to the left??? or either way?
