Flathead John, for some reason I cant email you off of this site. I must not have enough posts either. However my email address is rla442@yahoo.com.

I've been busy and haven't been on the site for a few days. I did scrounge through the garage looking for the mounts and found them. I'll find a set of the old rubber donut parts that way you have a way of copiing them. If you give me $25 for the pair that'll cover everything and the shipping too. If your in a hurry I get them shipped on Friday and you can send me the money later.

Like I said before no one seems to have the rubber mounts for a 52. Do like I did and use a body mount kit. It cost less and does the same thing. Just make sure they have the tubing running through the mount to keep the rubber for colapsing all the way. Some people use hockey pucks to for the rubber but I have no experience with them and I found the new set of body mounts for $18 at a swap meet and used them.

Let me know if you still want them and an address of where to send them.

I would appreciate it if you could take pictures of all the components you found on your '52's mounts, I'd like to see what they included firsthand.
hey ALBUQ,
i'm alittle late, but here's acouple if mine.
the first is a '51 F-1 (i bought with a v-8, but i'm not sure if it was factory, due to radiator was in the 6 cylinder location when i took apart) and the 2nd pic is a '52 F-3 (that 3rd rivit looks factory to me) truck came with a V-8
fyi,I'll send you higher quality pics if you want........

See the difference from 51 to 52 on the angled brackets that the motor mounts go onto? Apparently for the new-for-52 OHV 6.

Off topic perhaps, but does anyone have the mount pics for the 48 F1 w/v8? I was looking at mine, and realized mine look home-made. I'm beginning to think I have the wrong water pumps.??

Ok, I may have answered my own question....I got 8CM-8505-B on the P side water pump, and 8CM-8506-B on the driver side. Doesn't seem to match an 8RT or 8BA-8502 number, eh.

Looks like the water pumps have a 1949 Mercury car part number. I guess that explains the angle iron "risers" Hmm.

Havi, Yes those are the wrong water pumps for this application. The 8CM means they are off of a Mercury, thus the motor mount ears are higher up on the water pump as the motor sits lower in the Mercury chassis. And yes those are some kind of homemade risers to compensate for being the wrong water pumps. Number Dummy is out of town until the 24th but I'm sure he'll confirm that what you have are indeed Mercury water pumps.
