Help!
I cannot seem to find a speedo cable for a 1962 F-100 long bed 4WD. There seem to be plenty for 2WD models, but I know those aren't going to be long enough.
I am getting sick of looking at a cheap aftermarket tach and would like to use my original dash.... again.

Is the original speedo housing & cable still there, but not working?
If so, the inner core has dried out...then snapped in two. Autoparts stores sell a universal replacement core.
Just cut it to fit, coat it with graphite (this is necessary), and install it in the housing.
If the speedo cable is missing, you'll prolly discover there's no speedo (driven) gear either, so you'll need to get the correct gear (the rear end ratio is required), and the clip to retain it to the cable end.
If the cable is missing, you prolly have oil leak, unless someone plugged up the hole.
C3TZ17260L .. Speedometer Cable & Housing / Fits: 1961/62 F100/250 4WD / 109.12" long / Use with 3 or 4 speed manual transmission / Obsolete.
I found exactly one new original in the US, and sent you an email telling you who has it.
Four wheel drives attach to the transfer case. Irrelevant of what manual trans or engine is used it could be a 350 mouse and a 700 R4.. Hence the mile long cable.
